Review
(June 2008) - Space Mountain is an indoor rollercoaster ride that is located at the Magic Kingdom park as part of the Walt Disney World complex in Orlando, Florida.
We were able to get a Fastpass for Space Mountain so we didn't have to wait in line, but there was a huge regular line (around mid afternoon). We got up to the start of the ride and after a short wait were loaded into what looked like small rocket ships.
We waited a bit more and then looped around and then entered a tunnel with blue flash lights, which was part of the lift to start the ride. Basically what followed was a nonstop thrill ride of loops and turns in near complete darkness.
Summary
This ride was intense, and one of the funnest experiences we had at Magic Kingdom. The darkness of the ride adds a whole other dimension to riding on the roller coaster, as you are unable to see what is coming next.
