Astro Orbiter

Review

Astro Orbiter(June 2008) - Astro Orbiter is ride that is located at the Magic Kingdom park as part of the Walt Disney World complex in Orlando, Florida.

We got right in line and only had to wait about 15 minutes to ride. When we got to the end of the line we loaded on to an elevator and went up to the top of the platform where the ride was. From the top we could see almost all of the tomorrowland section.

We waited just a little bit longer and then boarded into our rocket to start the ride. Basically the ride spun around and around, and we were able to control the pitch/height of our ship. I could feel a little bit of centrifugal force going as we climbed as high as we could go, probably 20-30 feet into the air. We spun around and around a few times and then the ride was over, lasting a couple of minutes.

Not terribly intense, but the height combined with the speed of the ride made for an enjoyable experience.
